The Textile Exchange (TE) will hold its 4th annual Textile Sustainability Conference in Hamburg from October 3 to 6, 2016. The previous edition of this conference held in Mumbai on October 5-8, attracted some 300 participants from 32 countries, all coming together to learn the "tools" they need to "make a difference in the textile industry and, ultimately, the world." This conference featured an organic cotton roundtable in which some 200 representatives of producers, brand owners, retailers and support organisations shared their views and news on organic cotton. The "sheer size of the gathering and the energy on the day left no doubt in our minds that the desire to grow a robust and resilient organic cotton market is greater than ever," said TE.
