A new fabric collection, particularly suitable for trousers, has been launched by Siyaram Silk Mills which is just over three decades in the business. This collection called FreeFall marks Siyaram's bid to find a niche in the "trousering" segment. The company has hitherto been focusing on popular fashion brands for the finest and most premium suiting and shirting fabrics. Trouser fabrics, says the company's chairman Ramesh Poddar, "comprise around 90% of the entire fabric market in India.
