The strength of the automatic Ri-eter rotor spinning machine can be found in its high productivity and simultaneously its great flexibility with regard to raw material and yarn structure. A total of 45 R 60 rotor spinning machines each with 600 spinning units are in operation in the facility. The machines have independent sides, so that two different yarn counts per machine can be produced in parallel when required. Separating the batches on the two package conveyor belts ensures that the yarns are not mixed up upon take-off at the end of the machine. Gildan uses a fully automated package transport and palletising system to achieve seamless, perfect logistics.
