Asurge in the growth of the smart textiles industry is predicted this year due to a growing number of companies and products entering the market, which will increase public awareness and reduce costs, analysts claim. One of the leaders in this space is French-based Spinali Design, which rose to fame in 2015 when it launched the much-talked-about Neviano smart bikini: it is claimed that one billion people received information about the product via the media. Neviano has been dubbed a trendsetter, proving influential in the development of smart clothing throughout the last four years the company says. And such was the demand for Neviano that a second range was launched last year.

7. The role of ethics and ideology in our contribution to global health The topic of this article has vividly interested the author for many years. It is fascinating to him that the issues at stake have not changed for the last 30 years or so.
