There is trend which has existed for more than 40 years, where the answer to any issue is "disruptive" or "revolution". The primary source of this hype is Silicon Valley in the US, where "technologists" are really financial experts.Here's the magic formula:1.Come up with an idea and build it up via social media.2.Make the idea the solution to problems few even knew existed.3.Campaign the idea via government, selected lobby groups and the press (print, online, broadcast).4.Present some sort of crisis - the "point of no return", usually with catastrophic consequences.5.Capture as much of the new market as possible, and aggressively destroy all challengers.6.Ensure the shares are promoted to maximise rewards.
