Over 180 people gathered in The Old Swan, Harrogate on Saturday, 3 December 2011 for an evening of dancing, chatting, eating and the odd drink or two at the 44th IAEA Yorkshire Region Dinner Dance. A range of guests, from IAEA members and their partners to insurers, bodyshops, consultants and industry bodies, mingled in the beautiful surroundings of the hotel and enjoyed parsnip soup and a traditional turkey dinner, followed by mince tart with Christmas pudding ice cream, cheese and chocolates. While they took a few minutes to digest, Chris Ashworth, of Crashworth, gave an entertaining speech on the perilous state of the economy and how this is impacting on the repair industry. His presentation culminated in a short game of 'heads and tails', with all the questions industry-related.
