Although datalink has been a smash success, it's not without warts. Users complain of occasional signal dropouts, latency in the NEXRAD imagery and software lockups. Owners using both sferics devices and datalink from WxWorx have another complaint: the lightning data offered by WxWorx is sketchy to the point of uselessness. For subscribers who opt for the $49.99 a month premium Aviator package from WxWorx, there's the option of displaying lightning strikes.
