We have developed the technology in which the environmental loading in the incineration dis- posal was reduced by mixing active iron oxidesin the plastic film. In this paper, the outline is introduced. That is, it was respectively confirmed that very high catalytic activity for combustion appeared by specifying the active species of iron oxides and by controlling their shapes etc"' And also that the generation of unburned granular carbons as a source of dioxins was drastically reduced in the incineration by mixing the iron oxides in the plastic film. We have succeeded in the development of refuse bag and shopping bag as application goods of this technology, and the ternd is noticed as the influential goods which cast the light in the dioxins problem.
