CSTC-As CJ-ENG branch is the oversight and administrative authority for the construction of $271 million in facilities and defense infrastructure in FY2018. A specific need is directly in support of doubling the size of the Afghan Security Special Forces by 2020. These forces play a key role in destroying the enemy, counter-terrorism, and reducing illicit fund sources and capabilities (such as narcotics).Approximately $84 million in infrastructure projects is being executed throughout Afghanistan for the Afghan National Army Special Operations Command, Special Mission Wing, and General Command of Special Police Units.
