According to UK company Cathelco, its cathodic anti-fouling systems have been specified for the box coolers on a new 96m Finnish Border Guard patrol vessel being built at STX Finland's Rauma yard. Dutch manufacturer Blokland will be supplying 11 box cooler units for the patrol vessel which incorporate Cathelco anti-fouling systems to prevent the growth of barnacles and mussels which can impair the efficiency of the heat transfer process.
