My name is Will Johnson. I am the police chief in Arlington, Texas, and a candidate for the IACP Vice President at Large. I respectfully ask for your support. We are presently serving in very difficult times. Communities and agencies of all sizes are confronted with challenges that include unprecedented rates of ambush attacks on officers, the need for mental health reform, recruitment and retention challenges, public demands for government and policing reform, drug legalization efforts, escalating hate crimes, and conflict surrounding social injustices.
