There is a pair of Christmas 'White Rose' charters on offer this year, both going to York on December 14. To avoid confusion they run from different places. Vintage Trains'service uses GWR'Castle'No. 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe from Tyseley Warwick Road calling at stations via Tamworth to Derby on the way to York. The second version is the Railway Touring Company's charter, headed by LNER A4 No. 60009 Union of South Africa, running from King's Cross, Potters Bar, Stevenage and Peterborough to York.
