摘要

Hasib Hussain, Shehzad Tanweer, Mohammed Sadique Khan and Lindsey Germaine were neither Afghan Arabs returning from the front, nor Zarqawi-type terrorists bruising for a fight in the lands of the 'infidels'. The first three were British boys from Yorkshire: 'good lads', as one of their neighbours told the BBC. The fourth, born in Jamaica, was a married father living in leafy Buckinghamshire. On the morning of 7 July the four men had travelled together by train from Luton to London's King's Cross station. There they split up, then detonated their bombs on trains and a bus, killing more than fifty Londoners on their way to work.
