摘要

Typical cases of destructive damage to the heat-transfer surfaces in boilers and heat exchangers caused by hydrogen corrosion are described. The mechanisms of hydrogen corrosion and wear of the friction faces of steels and alloys, and some methods for enhancing their resistance against hydrogen corrosion and wear in a hydrogenous environment, are outlined.
