The efficiency of fins with convective cooling is considered. The effect of the change in the coolant temperature along the length of the fin and the heat-transfer coefficient is analyzed. The change in the heat conductivity of the fin as a function of temperature is accounted for, as well. The analysis is earried out using the spline method.
