BRIDGESTONE, the world's largest tyre manufacturer, has become the first UK operator to trial a new accreditation standard for tyre technicians. The irtec tyre assessment evaluates technicians on a number of practical and theoretical tasks, and includes an online test. If successful, the technician will be licenced for five years.
