SEVEN ENGINEERS TOOK part in the annual Scottish Young Engineer of the Year in an eagerly anticipated event at Ayrshire College in Kilmarnock. After a light buffet lunch, each contestant was shown around the tasks, before being tested on eight practical examinations in total, including on engine technology, steering systems and electronic diagnosis.
