On the evening of Tuesday 20th July, a small number of members and guests visited the Brijan Tours depot in Curdpidge near Southampton. We were welcomed by Brian and Jan Botley, the proprietors of the company. I will let you work out how the name 'Brijan' was decided as the name of the company. The company has been in business for over 20 years, they moved to the current site just over three years ago from their previous site in Bishops Waltham. The company has grown from operating one bus on the Hedge End Hoppa Route, which took in the railway station at Hedge End, Marks & Spencer/Sainsburys superstores and the centre of Hedge End to now providing the majority of routes operating throughout the East of Southampton to places like Botley, Bishops Waltham, Wickham etc.
