The Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) heads to the Big Easy for its 83rd annual event at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center Oct. 2-6. But don't expect its New Orleans location to make the conference lax - WEFTEC 2010 is projected to be WEF's biggest water quality event yet.rnWEFTEC 2009 brought in more than 17,700 attendees, nearly 1,000 exhibitors and was named the 74th largest tradeshow in the country in Tradeshow Magazine. This year, WEFTEC 2010 will host 112 technical sessions from topics including collection systems, membrane technologies, plant operations, treatment and management; regulations and research; residuals and biosolids; water recycling and more.There will also be 34 workshops and six facility tours.
