Motorists on the A2/M2 trunk road/motorway in Kent, England, are negotiating new traffic-flow arrangements using 37 new portal sign gantries - each supported by structural hollow section (SHS) steel from Corus Tubes. This major section of road, which links London with the Kent coast, is currently being widened along a 17km stretch to accommodate increased commuter demand - partly caused by the new River Medway road crossing that feeds into this section of the A2/M2.
