I very much enjoyed reviewing the 8th edition of Sonography –nPrinciples and Instruments by Professor Kremkau. It providesnan update of current ultrasound technology and wonderfulnillustrations and images demonstrating the diagnosticnquality of state-of-the-art ultrasound imaging and Dopplerntechniques. In the preface of this comprehensive book itnsuggests that it is aimed at, and is suitable for, sonography stu-ndents, allied health personnel and physicians. I would indeednagree that this is a very suitable textbook for those enteringninto the area of diagnostic ultrasound and wishing to get ansolid overview.
