Much has changed for the SUT in the 20 years since I left the Royal Navy and joined the organisation, but also some things have remained constant. I had little knowledge of the subsea oil and gas industry, although I was familiar with other aspects of the underwater world from my service career. I was very warmly received and supported, and I can safely say that that is one of the unchanging aspects of the Society - the membership and their unfailing enthusiasm, support and goodwill. This is nowhere more apparent than in one of most recent innovations, SUT+, in which young engineers and scientists in Houston, Perth and the UK have taken the initiative, and are developing activities and meetings aimed specifically at the next generation coming into the industry.

Exchange Rate Pass-Through in Transition Economies: The Case of the Republic of Macedonia Abstract: This paper investigates the relative costs and benefits associated with introducing a different exchange rate regime in the Republic of Macedonia.
