Speakers at the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Technical Analysis and Applications Center's 14th annual conference, hosted by New Mexico State University, outlined what coming airspace integration could look like, at least in the short term. Jim Williams, executive manager of the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration's UAS Integration Office, gave an FAA update at the December conference, hosted by New Mexico State University at the Tamaya Resort & Spa. Williams explained that the FAA is missing its congressional deadlines on UAS integration due to a concern over privacy issues.
