More than 40 countries were represented at this year's Soldier Technology exhibition and conference held in London 18-21 May. The event, organized by WBR, provided a showcase for international soldier system programs and associated technologies.rnA number of component suppliers were present at the exhibition, including Glenair Inc., based in Glendale, Calif. The company, which also has manufacturing plants in Italy and the United Kingdom, produces connectors, backshells and interconnect cable assemblies and supplies a wide range of military and aerospace programs. Glenair's composite thermoplastic connectors, fiber optic connectors and Micro-D cable assemblies are on board many unmanned aerial systems such as General Atomics Aeronautical Systems' Predator, AAI Corp.'s Shadow, Northrop Grumman's Fire Scout and Thales' Watchkeeper.
