Each year, based on returned ballots that are sent to the full membership, we change out six of our eighteen Board of Director positions. We normally do this effective with the last day of our annual symposium. This year was no different. We said goodbye to three directors who had selflessly given to the association. In August 2006, Mike Beebe, Mike Toscano and Doug Gage all departed the Board. Mike Beebe had served AUVSI for well over a decade, shaping the association for its potential growth before unmanned systems were "in".
