As I sit writing this month's editorial, the cool, early evening air is blowing in through the window of my office. Street cleaners have already swept up the mounds of red-paper litter from firecrackers in the annual San Francisco Chinese New Year parade that marched past my open window earlier today. I have to tell you that this is one sweet job.
