NASA Administrator Michael Griffin has endorsed a renewal of the highly successful 42-year-old Army-NASA Joint Agreement to Collaborate on Rotorcraft Research which leverages Army and NASA funding to support advanced rotorcraft research at NASA Research Centers at Ames, Glenn and Langley. Both Griffin and Acting Secretary of the Army Pete Geren have signed the agreement.rnBut wait! There is another "good." When the Army, at the last minute, canceled travel to the AHS 63rd Annual Forum in Virginia Beach (a decision by the Army's Research, Developmentrn& Engineering Command), NASA's Subsonic Rotary Wing (SRW) Program stepped up to the plate and provided travel reimbursement to the Forum for all Army lab personnel, including Army AFDD engineers and scientists, co-located with NASA. Army attendees were, at the last minute, given permission to accept the travel reimbursement offered by the NASA SRW program.
