Many companies developing electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and urban air mobility (UAM) concepts are staffing up. At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Hyundai Motor Group unveiled its new S-A1 eVTOL air taxi (see "Urban Air Mobility Steals the Show at CES 2020," pg. 62). Shortly after, the company announced that it had appointed Pamela Cohn as vice president to lead the group's Global Strategy and Operations at its UAM Division, headed by former NASA Associate Administrator for Aeronautics, Dr. Jaiwon Shin.
