South American Road Show Reveals Widespread Demand

Tesacom has successfully concluded its South American road show, which was undertaken to address growing demand for mobile satelliternservices within the region. The tour was conducted with the support of Inmarsat, Stratos, and terminal manufacturer Thrane&Thrane. In total, four press conferences were held, alongside customer seminars andrndemos, in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Brasilia, Brazil; Santiago, Chile; and Lima, Peru. Inmarsat president and chief operating officer, Michael Butler, was present at the conferences. "The level of turnout was excellent, with more than 200 people turning up at each press conference," Drew Brandy, head of Inmarsat's land mobile services, told Via Inmarsat.
