The formation of economic groups with State-owned corporations acting as the focal point to attract more involvement of other economic sectors has become a favourite choice of many industries. At recent seminar entitled 'Economic groups - factual issues and policy proposals' organised by the Central Economic Management Institute and relevant agencies, show advantages and disadvantages of the model during the formation of present economic groups from State-owned corporations.
