Recently I viewed an Internet video, shot from a boat, of a seaplane crashing after takeoff. In it, a SeaMax M-22 takes off, pitches up steeply, stalls, and then crashes into the water. Some online comments speculated on the cause of the crash, but none mentioned the actual cause: failure to remove water from the hull before takeoff. The aircraft tail number is visible in the video and an Internet search led me to an English translation of the Finnish accident report.
