A proposal that would effectively ban seaplane operations in New Mexico has prompted SPA to lead an aggressive advocacy effort opposing the ban. SPA was joined by numerous partners including AOPA, EAA, RAF, the International Association of Natural Resource Pilots, the New Mexico Pilots Association, New Mexico BLM, the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, New Mexico DOT's Aviation Division, and the New Mexico Aviation Aerospace Association, among others.
