The 2010 AirVenture Oshkosh was a good show for the Seaplane Pilots Association, despite an overall 7.5-percent attendance decline from last year, according to EAA figures. You made our Corn Roast the most successful ever-a sellout with over 725 guests. We all enjoyed the very special appearance from the grand dames of aviation, the WWII WASPs (Women's Army Service Pilots), who had recently received the Presidential Medal of Honor for their contributions to the war effort. They were the stars of the show, and have promised to come back and join us again next year.
