摘要

The idea is to keep the airplane inside an imaginary cocoon that provides a safety margin for every action. Cruising over land or rough water, stay high enough to glide to a safe emergency landing. In low visibility, turn around before conditions deteriorate below your comfort level. Taking off or landing, allow lots of space. Approaching or leaving the dock, insist on extra wing clearance from pilings and other obstacles. Avoid the stall zone except when touching down. Carry more than minimum fuel. Make sure to be back on the water while at least a half-hour of daylight remains.
