This is the third and final instalment of the 'The China Water Papers', which commenced with the first collection of papers published by Water International as a special section in September 2014 and the special issue published in January 2015. Including the works presented here, more than 20 papers have resulted from the 1st International Water Law Symposium convened by Xiamen Law School in May 2014 (for the full list of published papers, see Appendix 1). Our 2nd international Water Law Symposium is planned for November 2015.
