Having focused in the past primarily on the application of ultrafiltation in mid-to-large-sized treatment plants for drinking water, process water, sea water and wastewater, German company Inge's new range of 'dizzer P' elements have been designed for small-scale treatment system businesses and suppliers of point-of-entry systems. According to the company, the 2.5 or 4 inch (6 to 10cm) element with its membrane surface area of between 0.5m2 and 6m2 has been designed so that it can be simply inserted into a standard pressure vessel to be immediately ready for operation.
