Das gute alte Reißbrett hat bei der Konstruktion von Stanz-Biegewerkzeugen zwar noch nicht ausgedient, jedoch halten CA-Techniken speziell in diesem Aufgabenbereich ihren Einzug. Der Weg von der Bauteilzeichnung über die entsprechenden Streifenbilder zum Umformwerkzeug läßt sich in einem modernen Fertigungsumfeld nur mehr durch einen speziellen Software-Einsatz effizient realisieren.%Although the good old drawing board has not jet become obsolete for the design of blanking and bending dies, it is especially in this field that CA technologies have been gaining a foothold. In a modern production environment, the steps involved from the component drawing through blank development to the definite forming tool can be taken by means of special software applications only.
