Environmentally acceptable lubricants find their way into many applications, especially for once-through lubrication and into mobile hydraulic-operated machines. Here is given an overview about the qualitative demands, the problems and the products for the different applications.%Umweltschonende, d. h. biologisch schnell abbaubare Schmierstoffe finden in den verschiedenen Anwendungsfällen, insbesondere bei der Verlustschmierung und in mobilen Hydraulikaggregaten, immer mehr ihren Einsatz. Hier wird ein Überblick über die qualitativen Anforderungen, die damit verbundenen Probleme und die Produktvielfalt gegeben.
