Hello from the land of Gators and Grits! These have been some incredibly hectic days getting the office firmly established over here in Jacksonville. At the center of the maelstrom is the estimating effort for the Dames Point Container Terminal that will be built here locally in Jacksonville, Florida (FL). Though the estimate has been put together in Seattle, we have had to import Michael Duffy and Mark Stuessy to help put together local subcontractors. The terminal represents Jaxport's largest capital improvement in the history of the port. The effort has resulted in a successful prequalification for Manson and our joint venture partner Traylor Brothers with six other bidders. The list of people involved in preparation of the prequalification and bid documents is too extensive to list everyone, but I can try.
