This series of treatment was made up of 37 cases of epistaxis altogether including 21 males and 16 females. The youngest was 18 years and the oldest 62 years. Among them, 15 cases had concomitant hypertention, 6 cases rhinitis, 7 cases febrile disease, 6 cases hematopathy and 3 cases cirrhosis. Acupoints selected was Yintang (Ex-HN 3) Operation: A acupuncture needle was in- Seted into Yintang (Extra) and pushed forward Horizontally to a depth of about 0.5-0.7 cun, And then manipulated with uniform reducing and Reinforcing method moderately to cause the Needling sensations to spread to the nose tip.
