Before NDC Infrared Engineering launched Infralab 710, its replace-ment Infralab for at-line and laboratory measurement of important parameters such as moisture, nicotine and sugars, British American Tobacco conducted extensive tests on this new unit and a comparison of its performance against that of the previous generation Infralab TM5000 in respect of routine moisture measurement, The infralab 710 was tested against a set of criteria to ensure that its functionality, usability and performance met or exceeded BAT's needs, and in conclusion, the Infralab 710 was seen to be a satisfactory replacement for the TM5000 that offered enhanced speed and usability.
