Dr M J Taylor, Scientific Services Manager at the Filtrona Technology Centre, considers . the role of filter technology in reduced yield cigarettes. In recent years there has been a growing interest in a wide range of chemicals in cigarette smoke, in particular those chemicals considered toxic or carcinogenic.
