Seit 2013 gibt es in der Bundesrepublik die Partei Alternative für Deutschland. Mit welchen Themen will sie eine Alternative zu den etablierten Parteien bieten? Eine vergleichende Analyse des ersten Wahlprogramms (2013) und des Grundsatzprogramms (2016) zeigt eine starke Verschiebung der Themenschwerpunkte. Standen bei der Gründung noch Themen wie EU-Kritik, Volkssouveränität und Haushaltsdisziplin im Fokus, definiert sich die AfD heute besonders über Bezüge zum Nationalismus, zur gesellschaftlichen Homogenität und zu traditionellen Werten. Since its foundation in 2013, the political party „Alternative for Germany" (AfD) has claimed to provide a programmatic alternative to the established parties. But what topics does the AfD address, and what positions does it take? A comparative analysis of its first electoral program in 2013, and of the general program („Grundsatzprogramm") adopted in 2016, reveals a significant shift in the predominant topics and positions. In its initial phase, the party devoted most of its attention to EU-criticism, democracy and economic orthodoxy. Three years later and their focus has shifted towards nationalism, social homogeneity, and traditional morality.
