Für die Kommunistische Partei Chinas ist das Internet Segen und Fluch zugleich. Die Hassliebe der herrschenden Partei zu den neuen Kommunikationsmedien erklärt sich aus deren Ambivalenz als Kontroll-und Informationsinstrument auf der einen und potenzieller Bedrohung staatlicher Machtstrukturen auf der anderen Seite.%For the Chinese Communist Party the Internet is both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, it loves the Internet and, at the same time, it hates it. The roots of this ambivalence lie in the fact that the Internet (and the complex communication galaxy connected to it) is for the Party a constant reminder of both the great potentials of the future and the fragility of traditional forms of political power.
