For the last ten years, the Irmgard Coninx Foundation has organized the "Berlin Roundtables on Transnationality", a global fellowship and conference program. Six-hundred young academics from around the world came to Berlin to discuss current societal issues, 30 of whom joined the WZB as fellows for several months. In the course of a decade, a global network across national and disciplinary boundaries has developed. In June 2014, the Roundtables series, cohosted by the WZB and Humboldt University, will come to an end.%Zehn Jahre lang hat die Irmgard Coninx Stiftung das Konferenz- und Stipendiatenprogramm „Berlin Roundtables on Transnationality" veranstaltet. 600 junge Akademiker aus der ganzen Welt sind seit 2004 zu den Roundtables über aktuelle gesellschaftliche Themen nach Berlin gekommen, 30 von ihnen haben einige Monate am WZB geforscht. So ist ein Disziplinen übergreifendes globales Netzwerk entstanden. Im Juni 2014 geht die gemeinsam mit dem WZB und der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin gestaltete Roundtables-Reihe zu Ende.
