The paper aims at selecting superior forms for industrial processing and for further breeding work. The selected forms have large and very large fruits (25.0x24.1x24.7 mm), spherical in shape. The stone is elongated-flat, averaging 13.1x9.8x6.6 mm. Fruit mass ranges from 6.4 to 26.6 g, averaging 13.3 g, and stone mass from 0.3 to 1.7 g. Flesh ratio is high to very high, ranging from 91.3 to 96.2%, an average across the forms being 93.7%. Total soluble solids varied from 10.0 to 19.0% and total acids from 1.16 to 4.00%. Among the selected forms, those with red fruit colour predominate. The forms Nos. 3, 4, 7, 8, 9 and 10 were distinguished on the basis of the above characters and are considered suitable for large-scale growing, whereas the others are of significance for further breeding work and for germplasm collection.
