摘要:Inspired by the chirality widely existing in nature, great attention has been paid to design and fabrication chiral supramolecular architectures with achiral subunits via non-covalent interactions such as hydrogen bonding,metal-metal bonding, and metal-ligand coordination. There are different strategies to construct chiral supramolecular self-assembles,e.g.memory effect, symmetry breaking, chiral encapsulation and so on.Herein,we present the novel metal-organic macrocycles with different conformations,i.e.cone,1,2-alternate,and 1,3-alternate,which are designed and synthesized via symmetry breaking induced by coordinating imidazolium ligands with flexible conformation with Pd(Ⅱ) or Pt(Ⅱ).
