The effect of polarization of the Li-6 and H-3 clusters on the parameters of states of the Li-7 nucleus and on the cross section for the reaction Li-6(n,H-3)He-4 was studied. The He-4 + d + n three-cluster configuration was invoked for this purpose, and cluster dynamics was determined within a microscopic model where the relative motion of the clusters was described in terms of Faddeev amplitudes. The He-4 + d + n three-cluster configuration made it possible to consider the He-4 + H-3 and Li-6 + n binary channels, which are dominant in Li-7, and to take simultaneously into account the cluster polarization of Li-6 as a two-cluster subsystemin the He-4 + d representation and the cluster polarization of H-3 as a two-cluster subsystem in the d + n representation.
