Mooney Controls has introduced FlowMax, a new high-capacity pilot-operated regulator designed specifically for applications where the differential pressure across the valve can be as low as 3 psi.This design makes the device well-suited for district, first stage, monitor, and industrial service regulator applications, according to the company.The device has a 250-psig pressure rating, and can control pressure from 5-in. water column up to 248 psig. A low-volume casing and two-path pilot system enables quick response to changes in control pressure, regardless of the pressure differential.
