The Geopatial Information & Technology Association (GITA) has announced the publication of The Geospatial Technology Report - 2000: A Survey of Organizations Implementing Geospatial Information Technologies.According to GITA, the report contains detailed information on the completeness, complexity, and direction of geographic information system (GIS) projects being implemented at 95 infrastructure-based organizations. The 72-page report is divided into six industry sections: electric, pipe lines, telecommunications, water, and waste/stormwater.
